Admission Regulations M.Sc.(N)

The Candidates should have

Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing degree with 55% marks from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University or any other University accepted as equivalent there to
Should have registered with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives council, Chennai.
B.Sc. Nursing graduates should have one year experience in a teaching hospital or in a college or school of Nursing or in community health nursing field after the announcement of the result.
The candidate with P.B. B.Sc. nursing need not have one year of experience after graduation for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing. They can be admitted to M.Sc. Nursing soon after the graduation in any branch of study;
Candidate before seeking admission shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate from The TN Dr. M.G.R. Medical University by remitting the prescribed fees along with the application form

The following certificates / documents have to be submitted along with duly filled Application form (Originals + 4 Photostat Copies):

Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
UG Provisional / Degree Certificate
UG mark statements
Migration Certificate for the students who have passed UG Degree course other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai
Council Registration Certificate from Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai.The candidates who have registered with other state Nursing Council should submit the Registration Certificate of other state council also
Eligibility Certificate obtained from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
Passport Size Photographs (5 Nos.)
